The Google Partner Accelerate event, which took place in Dublin, is organised by Google and dedicated to the top 145 Google Partner Agencies that are part of the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa).
The aim of the Google Partner Accelerate event was to update and inspire the agencies that attended, of the latest tools to hone their strategies. Google certainly smashed this goal as the event was a great success in doing just that.
The event commenced on 4th December, with an evening of networking for the agency CEOs from three continents, followed by a day of networking at the Google headquarters in Dublin.
Marcin Karnowski, Head of SMB Acquisitions Marketing for the EMEA at Google, delivered an introduction speech on the growing importance of the cabinet. This was followed by different insights, such as an interesting presentation on consumer habits by Thomas Husson, the VP at Forrester, as well as a focus on the importance of Micro Moments in Marketing offered by Californian Ben Tyson, Global Head of Live Training Strategy in Google.
Web Psychologist Nathalie Nahia delivered a fantastic speech with practical examples of how the human brain responds to video content, offering insight into the formula for increasing engagement. This was followed by French-Italian Luigi Reggiani, Head of Analytics, Conversions and Attribution at Google, offer insight and stress the importance of data analysis.
During the convention, other speakers included Professor Elisabeth Kelan, Helen Tynan who is the Director of People Ops for the EMEA at Google, and British Journalist and Writer Matt Ridley.
This 2-day event came to an end on the evening of 5th November, with a fabulous Awards Gala. The organisation and delivery of the entire event was perfect – we wouldn’t expect anything else from Google.
